VICKY IN SOHO, NYC

Victoria is a series of photographs about my best friend - someone whose presence has quietly shaped my life and my art. In the streets of Soho, surrounded by the rhythm of the city, she becomes both herself and something more: a reflection of the intimacy, energy and beauty that New York seems to draw out of her. I’ve always been drawn to the way Victoria inhabits in a place, how her confidence and warmth transform even with busiest corners into something softer, more intentional. 

Photographing her feels both personal and creative - a way of honouring our friendship while exploring how beauty exists in motion, in laughter, in the unguarded moments that unfold between us. Through these images, I hope she can see what I see: how effortlessly she moves through the world, how her presence shifts the atmosphere, how she is continually evolving into her truest self. At the same time, these photographs mark another chapter in my creative growth, reflecting how my vision and perspectives continues to expand alongside those who inspire me.
