HYNING @ HOME

The shoot focuses on the quiet atmosphere of her room, using ambient evening light as both a visual element and a concept. Instead of polished presentation or styled poses, the images lean into the everyday rhythm of her routine - the moments that usually go unseen.

The project reflects on what portraiture can be when we step away from the idea that people need to look their “best”. In her own space, surrounded by the things that make up her daily life, she becomes more honest, more grounded, and more herself. These raw, intimate moments hold their own value - showing a version of someone that isn’t curated, but lived.

By working within her environment rather than transforming it, the series highlights how personal space shapes identity. It’s a reminder that authenticity doesn’t need to be performed; sometimes it’s already there, in the quiet light of an evening at home.
